Why is the chubby girl near the front of the screen, and the good looking girl sitting in the back. Also why talk about a recipe book you have not even try.
1st one is b-o-r-i-n-g. They should of pick up stickers from one of those drawers and show how they have change during the years. Or what people bought years ago to what they buy now.
Did you know that Dr Pepper is the oldest major soft drink in America? Dr. Charles C. Alderton, a pharmacist, first mixed the drink in Morrison's Old Corner Drugstore in Waco, TX in 1885. The present museum is housed in the oldest surviving headquarters building for a major soft drink, the Artesian Manufacturing and Bottling Company building. It was built in 1906 in downtown Waco; Dr Pepper, along with other soft drinks, was originally bottled in this builing. The museum is 18,500 square feet and offers three floors of exhibits. There is a scaled recreation of the Old Corner Drugstore complete with a talking animatron of Doc Alderton. Bottling equipment, containers, and an interior artesian well are also featured, along with 25 years of Dr Pepper commercials. Other exhibits include soft drink marketing and advertising campaigns, as well as a recreation of a 1930s country store. The museum features a gift shop that offers a wide advertising of Dr Pepper memorabilia, and an old-fashioned soda fountain that sells Dr Pepper, Blue Bell ice cream, and other delicious treats.
Dr Pepper Museum
Drink a Bite to Eat! (of podcasting fun, that is!)
The Dr Pepper Museum is proud to present their Audio Wand Tour available as a podcast for the first time! The number in the title corresponds to a number posted on the wall in the museum. The tour is designed to put the exhibit you are viewing into historical context, both on the local and national level. In addition to the Audio Wand Tour, we will be adding podcasts that feature new exhibits or events, so keep your eye out for exciting new posts!
